I've successfully managed to stay away from the computer today (except for now.) Instead I've managed to put aside some time for some drawing/playing with ideas - something I haven't done enough of recently.
Here's a completely random doodle that popped up. The sentence got stuck in a loop in my head after I said it in a convenience store. Probably won't make much sense to some peeps. Anywhoo - I'd love to do a paper cut sometime with this sort of text (something more sensical though).
P.S. - Tram is one of those strange words where if you say it too often it loses all meaning, don't you think?

I love your design and the lettering! I think it would look great as a paper cutout. In fact, as soon as I read those words, I felt inspired to try my own paper cutout even though I've never done that before! Somehow, it's just exactly what I want to do right now. Thank you!
I like it!
That is funny, that awkward sentence is very familiar to me and I just had to laugh.
It does remind me of the 'heaps good' t-shirts you can get from Adelaide (the site has Don Dunstan 'wearing' one) - anyone from SA immediately gets it.
Thats cool! We coulda used you when we were making flyers for this I just realised that im gonna have to figure out a new way to tag my things for when(if) the new ticketing system kicks in... bah!
It's funny, but even before I'd read your whole post I thought it would be gorgeous as a papercut! Keep us updated, I'd love that as a print or postcard, so utterly Melbourne.
That is awesome!
And my "losing sense" word is 'dish'.
Hehe I love it! I would have to add zone 2 to mine - and least it's not still "Can I have a Zone 1, 2, 3..."
Oh and I totally second the postcard idea, that would be great!
that looks awesome!
I love trams but we don't have any here so this is a special "other world" image for me.
haha - so Melbourne right now!
i really love this! i think a papercut would be the perfect medium for it.
I love these.
Cliche as it might be, I think I would smile if I saw this stencilled on a wall in Melbourne somewhere.
As a temporary Melburnian, I love it! :) After embarassing myself completely on the first day here by looking like a complete tourist, I'm completely on the ball now. Sort of. :)
