Okay I think you can look at this two ways - as either really cool or really lame. Or maybe both :)
But as I was printing the remaining editions of the 'Sia's Village' print (available again in my shop), I decided to film the process. Just the part where I do the registration, so you can see the rego plate that I've been yakking on about in action.
So here it is, my video debut*:

that's actually really handy...i don't have that gocco (i've got the pg5) but now i'm trying to figure out if i can fudge a reg plate together somehow...hmmm i know what i'll be mulling over today!
thanks so much for posting it, not lame at all, most informative!
Ha...I also have the pg5 and wondered if I could do that too!
I love that you put it to music :)
your video is really cool, no lame at all!!!! I didn't know about Gocco, so thank you so much for sharing that!
Hey great work! It is funny you posted this as I was thinking of making a vid tut on my screenprinting as my boyfriend keeps growling that I don't use the video camera enough!
Great work and I liked the song as well. It was also neat to see a Gocco in use, I had no idea how they worked!
you are the best! THANKS for sharing....just bought the PG-11 two days ago... THANKS to you again. Also, I found the stamper kit here: http://northwoodstudios.tripod.com/stampx2.html
very cool! I've been hearing a lot about Gocco as of late. Interesting stuff.
thanks for the video. i might just direct some folks to your site. if that's okay. if you dampen the sponge base thing ... the print will stay there instead of sticking to your screen. don't dampen it too much. if it gets too sticky just place a paper in the center of it ... leaving the grey base around the outside edges. i hope that makes sense. and helps. oh, the gocco. so addictive. and your print is wonderful. wonderful.
sorry, unrelated comment to this particular post but wanted to thank you for the reversible journal cover pattern. I made one yesterday and you can see it here - http://modernemotive.com/blog/2008/02/25/pretty-notes/
Thanks. Super easy to make and fabulous instructions.
what a great video! i've learn something new about my gocco machine today! :D
Thanks Lara!

Not lame at all! I have the PG-11 too and wasn't really sure how the registration plate worked, so now I know!

Very cool indeed! Thanks for sharing!!
i have no idea what's going on here, but it looks great! haha
printmaking looks like fun! thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing Lara. I have a new PG-11 and am still in the 'too scared to use' stage. Maybe I should just go for it!!
KKKRRRRRRrrrrrhhh (the sound of tumultuous applause). If I also could write the sound of being green with envy about your Gocco, I would. Thanks!
cute and cool
now I need to get my gocco out and get cracking
oh and my little keira looooves the song for the video!
so cool, i also had absolutely no idea how they work, nice to see!
what a great video! thanks for putting it together :) it makes me want to have a gocco printer more :)
Love it! Thanks for show us how it is done I have always been curious.
I received my print last week and just love it. My degree is in architecture and I just love all those little houses, reminds me of Tuscany.
Hi Lara,
Great video! Makes me even MORE excited about my gocco that's on it's way. I also tried ordering a stamp kit online from the US but alas they refunded my money - i think they must have sold out. I'll have to keep looking.
Great Joanna song by the way. Hope you caught her playing with Smog last year. Great show!
