Shearious Craftsperson

Okay that was officially the worst pun/dad joke ever, but I couldn't resist.

It was certainly not worthy of the subject matter which is this awesome pair of industrial shears I received for my birthday courtesy of the lovely Mattt and his partner Mel. Because now I am a 'serious craftsperson' hehe. I like that.

Here they are with my (wrong) hand for size context.

Mmmm. These will come very much in handy.

Oh, yes, these look wonderful! I recently bought myself really nice large shears... there's nothing like long clean cuts. Very satisfying.

Oooh very impressive... I was recently thinking I need to invest in some 'proper' fabric shears and those ones certainly look good! Do you know what brand they are?

And yay with all the printing goodness! It's looking awesome... so happy it's all working out well!

Yay! My mum had a pair of these when we were young...they were known as "the good scissors".

Funny - I blogged my tailors shears this week, too. I got mine for my 21st birthday, and they've been around the world with me twice!! They really are a fabulous tool - nothing like 12inches of scissor blade!!!
