I was on the hunt for some nice Australian native flora to put in a vase at home. The local flower shop didn't have any but Port Melbourne's nature strips came up with the goods - 'borrowed' after dark whilst visiting friends. Thanks Port!
Flowering Gum
Flowering Gum
I do approve of a suburb that plants Flowering Gums for it's residents. Would make a nice print, no?

It would look beautiful as a print. The colour is brilliant.
love the native plants, so beautiful! i wish our council planted more!! they would look lovely as a print :)
love the colors...so pretty!
oh yes, indeed it would make a lovely print!
Just wonderful! Always think of Margaret Prestons beautiful prints when I see these (and I just happen to be reading some May Gibbs to my kids at bedtime!)
I will have to show you a print I did of these Lara, we are spookily similar!
These would make a beautiful print. The photos are just gorgeous. So much life and colour.

This is my favourite colour palette of all time. I am looking at the colour of the leaves, the blossoms and the bark as the palette for repainting our living area.
A house near us has a version with the most remarkable orange blossom instead of the red - it has a touch of apricot in it - hideous if you got it wrong but noice, diffrent, unyouseyuel if you nailed it.
They remind me of sea anemones.
What beautiful beautiful flowers...so exotic...and fabric with them as a pring...oh..amazing
These are beautiful! I have quite a few growing in my yard, but something keeps eating the blossoms out from the inside before they open. So disappointing! But I'm glad you found some :)
How have they lasted in water?
