I have that really disturbing thing going on where you're working towards a massive deadline but the weeks just fly by in the blink of an eye.
I've got a couple of major events coming up, not least of which is the Stitches & Craft Show where we'll have an indie incubator stall for a full 5 days.
Now, for those who have or haven't visited the Stitches & Craft Show in the past - abandon all preconceptions you might have about it!! The show has been completely bought out by Living Creatively, who's mission is to redefine 'craft' and make the show a much more modern affair.
I'm really hoping the show will be a great success. Myself and the other Ink & Spindle girls will also be putting on a bunch of workshops and seminars (details to appear online soon), so please come along to one of them! My workshop will be about glass etching - with cute and modern designs or whatever you like. Should be a heap of fun.

It's going to be great. I'm going to be in the Incubator too and will be teaching some workshops on collage. See you there.
I cannot wait until the show! I'm trying to convince my sister to come this year now that it won't all be 'country craft' and quilts. Not that I minded that in the past, but this year sounds so much better!
Oh boy, I know that "time flying" feeling! With less than 3 weeks left, it's panic stations over here!
I'm in the incubator as well - see you guys there, it's going to be ace fun!
yikes deadline!
Sounds interesting. I was in two minds about going as every time I've been I come away disappointed most of the exhibitors stuff was just not for me. In other words it was lacking a modern edge.
So I will definitely have to make a visit this year.
any chance of making an appearance to Sydney S&C?
cool, thanks for the heads up about the image makeover of the show!
Lara, I'm so glad you blogged about the change to the stitches and craft show, my friend and I vowed never to go again after the last few were SO disappointing, maybe you could suggest to them that they advertise it as "under new management"!!! might just have to go then...:)Kylie
I am so looking forward to stitches and craft in melbourne, especially with support and endorsement from you, and 'real living' mag. Completely un-related, but I commented a few weeks ago on 'pictures speaking 1000 words', I just recently took a leaf out of your book and widen my blog and posted from flickr, it is unbelievable the difference in quality. So big thanks for pointing that out.
I'm glad you mentioned that it is going to be a more modern affair, I've been debating for weeks about whether to go or not, and now I've seen your post I'll definitely go, thanks!
