Hello, Christchurch!

Hey Christchurch people! I know it isn't the best time given the recent earthquakey-ness that has rocked your city (hope you and your loved ones are all okay!)... but, I'm coming to visit on Thursday!!

The lovely Suzannah from Bolt of Cloth has invited me to visit her store and give a talk about Ink & Spindle and our textiles. I'll be there from 3:30 on Thursday 9th Sept (so long as our flight isn't late) and it would be awesome if you live nearby and can come along!

Here's some pics of the gorgeous Bolt of Cloth store & workroom which looks AMAZING and I can't wait to visit it.

Of course, I'm not just flying to NZ to visit Suzannah's store. There'll be a lovely Kiwi man in tow. And some parents to meet. Eeeep! xx

The store looks ace. As for the parents thing, just be thankful your surname isn't Focker.

Oooooohhhhh meeting the parents!!! You'll be fine, just show 'em your fabrics and throw in a few cushions as a "I come in peace" gift. ;)

Are you travelling up to the North Island as well or just staying in the South? My housemate is from a town near Mt Taranaki on the North Island.

I love how light and airy that workroom and store looks - however it's a bit far to go just for fabric lol.

What a great store! Hope the Christchurch locals are all OK. Don't be worried about the 'outlaws', I'm sure you'll blow them away...Terese
