Today is a weird day - for the first time since me and Pete met, we have no means of communication - he's at some team building thing at Telstra Dome for Lonely Planet, and left his mobile at work. It's the strangest feeling! To go from talking most of the day every day to spending a whole day not even being able to send a text message O_O
I feel extra lonely today at home working on my own on a cold rainy day.
Last night went to see Sigur Ros from Iceland. It was held at Hamer hall - awesome venue. They played okay, but a bit too "rocky" for my liking - I don't think I like them live as much as recorded. BUT, the best part of the evening was one of the supporting acts - these four really cute awesome chicks (possibly from iceland too) who were basically a string quartet who also played a whole bunch of percussion instruments too - glockenspiels and little plucking instruments and bells and wine glasses and even a saw. As Pete said they were MUCH more "musical" than the main band. I should go find out who they were :)
