Draw

Thought i'd try my hand at drawing completely by hand, with no computer mediation. I did a pencil sketch and had a go at colouring it in with my ol set of derwent pencils. I had no idea what I was doing with the shading etc, but I think it turned out ok-ish for my first go...

I've always really liked the design of old fashioned chocolate bar wrappers and cocoa tins. So I finally decided to have a go at doing one myself. It was really fun - click the image for a closeup - it looks better bigger.

Aliased = good

I'm really liking the whole crisp aliased graphics look - view the above image full sized to see what I mean. Am working on this as a concept for that sex-ed site. Urban montage scenes which you can zoom in on and more things will appear - people in various situations etc. Hopefully it'll work :)

Thanks to the lovely Clea and Katrina for helping me pull off Pete's birthday cake! Clea gave me the awesome recipe and put up with all my text messaged cooking questions :) And Katrina was my trusty helper and great moral support when it came to decorating the cake on the night.
