Cressy Sideboard

Just popping in to share my excitement over my recent eBay win. I'd been cruising the 'bay looking for some nice mid century furniture and when I saw this one it was love at first sight. I managed to score it a mere $20 below my maximum bid:

Cressy sideboard - my new love (photo by ccmodern)

I can't wait for it to arrive (coming all the way from Sydney!). Australian made in the 60's by Cressy Furniture - they really knew what they were doing back then.

It's going to be great for product shoots too :)

GORGEOUS! I'm on the look-out for a great mid-century coffee table... Bryan calls it "the coffee table of my dreams". I've yet to find it in real life!

Great find Lara, I think it is time for a return to beautifully made local furniture and less mass produced made in Indonesia. Im sure it will look lovely in your home.

Hey Lara, that is gorgeous! I have a Cressy sideboard, and you know what I love most about it? The way the drawers open and close. It's true craftsmanship - and I love using it every day x
